1. We will discuss responses to the following question: How is technology changing our definition of what it means to be human?
2. Students will choose to either support, deny, or remain neutral to the claim that technology is advancing what it means to be human.
3. Once you have taken a position, you will create a written response to be your first blog entry. Ms. Gee will demonstrate how to create the blog post and link it to the class website via the class' Padlet page.

- What is web 2.0 tool can you use to create dynamic blog pages?
- How can we provide hyperlinks from main web pages to individual blogs?

Objectives:
By the end of this lesson we will have:
- Created and designed individual blogs using a Web 2.0 tool
- Created our first blog entry focusing on future outcomes of human evolution
- Hyper linked individual blogs into a collective piece accessible from the class web page.

- A minimum of 5 sentences (25pts)
- Your stand on if you support or do not support the statement above. (25pts)
- A graphical representation of your human and technology interaction. (25pts)
- A link to an article or YouTube video within your blog post to support your stand. (25pts)
5. Once blog post are completed, please access the class's Padlet to link to the class' website. Within your Padlet, you need to include the following:
- The title "Welcome to (Student's Name)'s Blog"
- Also include your favorite technology quote. You can find these by conducting a Google search or try Brainy Quotes or Ebook Friendly.
- Finally place your URL to your Wix created blog in the appropriate field. If this is done correctly student blogs will display in the Padlet app in a slideshow form.
6. Blogs will be checked for completion through the from Ms. Gee's Class website.
